Frequently asked questions

What the app does, what it costs and what it runs on.

What is Davka?

Davka is an iPhone and Android app for logging supplements and vitamins by part of the day, plus water and caffeine, with widgets and PDF reports. Davka gives no advice on what to take and does not rate supplements. A full list of its features and limits is on What Davka does and does not do.

Who is Davka for?

For anyone who takes supplements or vitamins and wants one place that shows what is already logged today and what is still left.

What exactly do you log in Davka?

Supplements from the catalog and your own items with ingredients and brand, each with the amount from its label and placed in a part of the day: morning, afternoon or evening. In Settings, under More records, you can also turn on a count of alcoholic drinks and add custom sections.

Do I need an account or to sign up?

No. Davka does not ask you to register or sign in, and it has no ads and no analytics. How it handles data is described in the privacy policy.

How much does Davka cost?

The first 14 days are free, with no payment up front and no card details. After that you choose a subscription at $1.99, €1.99 or £1.99 a month or $19.99, €19.99 or £19.99 a year, or a lifetime license at the founder’s price of $39.99, €39.99 or £39.99, paid once. Prices are the same in the App Store and on Google Play.

Do I keep my records if I don’t pay after the trial?

Yes. All your records stay accessible after the trial ends, without a subscription. On iPhone, Apple manages the subscription; how to cancel is on the support page. On Android, Google Play manages it: in the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, where you can also cancel it.

Do my records move to an iPad or a new iPhone?

Yes, on their own, through your private iCloud. The devices only need the same Apple Account; there is nothing else to set up.

Does Davka work with the Health app?

Yes. With your permission, Davka writes the logged nutrients, water and caffeine to the Health app. You turn the connection on in Settings, in the Apple Health row.

Does Davka have widgets?

Yes. The supplements widget and the water widget log straight from the Home Screen without opening the app, and the caffeine widget shows today’s caffeine curve. After you log a drink, the caffeine estimate can also appear on the Lock Screen (Live Activity); you turn it on in Settings.

How do I create a PDF report or a CSV export?

In Settings, under Data & backup. Report (PDF) creates a report for a month, a quarter or a year, and Data backup (CSV) saves the whole history of your records in one file.

Which languages is the app in?

Czech, Slovak, German, English and Spanish.

Which devices does Davka run on?

On iPhone with iOS 18 or later, on iPad with iPadOS 18 or later and on Android, where it has been on Google Play since 22 October 2026. On a Mac with an Apple M1 chip or later (macOS 15 or later) it runs as an iPad app. Since version 1.0.1 it is also ready for iPhone Duo.

How do I contact support?

Write to support@davka.app; we usually reply within 48 hours. Fixes for common problems, for example with reminders, are on the support page.
