Less caffeine: a 2027 resolution and a coffee and caffeine log

Davka is an iPhone and Android app for logging supplements and vitamins by part of the day, plus water and caffeine, with widgets and PDF reports. You log caffeine by picking a drink, and Davka estimates how much is still in the body and how much is left in the evening.

This page describes what Davka does for a resolution to drink less coffee and caffeine. It gives no advice on how much caffeine is too much and does not rate drinks: it shows what you logged and, as an estimate, what that means for the body.

Home: logged drinks and the estimated caffeine curve

Logging drinks

One tap on Caffeine on the Home screen opens the choice of drink, for example coffee, matcha or an energy drink. Logged drinks are listed with their time below the card.

The curve and the evening estimate

From the logged drinks and their times Davka estimates a caffeine curve: how much caffeine is in the body now and how much is left in the evening. It is an estimate, not a measurement.

Widget and Lock Screen

The caffeine widget shows today’s curve. On iPhone, after you log a drink, the estimate can also appear on the Lock Screen (Live Activity); you turn it on in Settings.

Apple Health

With your permission, Davka on iPhone writes caffeine, water and nutrients to the Health app.

Where Davka is weaker

Today it cannot share records with other people. It gives no advice on how much caffeine to have, and the curve is an estimate, not a measurement.

FAQ

How does Davka estimate the caffeine in my body?

From the logged drinks and their times it works out a caffeine curve: how much caffeine is in the body now and how much is left in the evening. It is an estimate, not a measurement.

Does Davka say how much caffeine is too much?

No. Davka gives no advice and does not rate drinks; it shows the logged drinks and the estimated curve.

Does Davka write caffeine to Apple Health?

With your permission, yes. You turn the connection on in Settings, in the Apple Health row; on iPhone Davka writes logged caffeine, water and nutrients to the Health app.

How much does Davka cost?

The first 7 days are free, with no payment up front and no card details. After that you choose a subscription ($1.99 a month or $19.99 a year) or a lifetime license ($39.99, paid once). A subscription is not required: the lifetime license is one single payment.

Does Davka need an account?

No. Davka asks for no registration or sign-in and has no ads or analytics.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your records are not deleted after the trial. The app stays locked until you choose a subscription or the lifetime license, and you can download your records as CSV right from that screen.
